| وفي فبراير عام 1980 سجل براين ادمز اول اغنيه له عن طريق شركة A&M في تورنتو .
في عام 1981 اصدر براين ادمز ثاني شريط له الي احتوى على اربع اغاني حققت مراتب عاليه على مستوى امريكا الشماليه .. وهذا الشريط انتجه براين ادمز بنفسه
الاغاني الي احتلت المراتب الأولى هي :_‘Coming home’,‘Lonely nights’, ’one good reason’ ‘Fits ya good’.
في عام ابريل 1983 عمل 100 حفله في امريكا لحالها .. في جولته الي استغرقت خمس شهور .. ( وش الحبوب الي ستعملها )
في اغسطس عام 1983 حصل باع اسطوانته في امريكا لوحدها اكثر من مليون نسخه ..
في ديسمبر 1983 حصل لى ثلاث جوائز جائزة افضل الألبومات مبيعا .. وأفضل مغني فئة الرجال .. وجائزة الجونو لأفضل صوت
في اكتوبر 1984 توقف براين عن الغناء بسبب عدم سعادته في سير المشروع " recklees "  في نوفمبر الخامس من نوفمبر 1984 وهو اليوم الي يوافق غيد ميلاده ...Heaven’, ‘It’s Only Love’ ‘Kids Wanna Rock’. “Reckless” ’Summer Of 69’
